MP calls public meeting on hospital's future

David Howarth, MP for Cambridge, has called a public meeting to discuss the future of Brookfields Hospital on Mill Road.
Mr Howarth would like to hear the views of local residents and patients on proposals to close the remaining wards for the elderly at Cambridge's community hospital.
The meeting will be held at:
2pm Thursday 13th September
Lower Hall, Centre at St Paul's
Mr Howarth commented:

"The proposals being discussed during the consultation could mean the end of wards for the elderly at Brookfields Hospital. I would like to know how local residents, patients, families and staff feel about the proposals. It's important that we all have a voice in decisions which affect our local health services."
