Firefighters join 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning'

Cambridge MP David Howarth has today joined local firefighters in raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Mr Howarth joined the World's Biggest Coffee Morning organised by Macmillan at Parkside Fire Station this morning. He commented on the visit:

"Macmillan provides essential support for people with cancer and their families. They provide practical and financial help, specialist health care through the Macmillan nurses and emotional support.

"The charity relies on voluntary donations for almost all of its income and so events like today's are vital. I was very pleased to have been invited and I hope that the event raised a lot of money for Macmillan Cancer Support."
