MP backs local fundraisers

David Howarth, MP for Cambridge, is backing the fundraising efforts of staff at Asda in Cambridge.
He visited the fundraisers during their Tickled Pink charity campaign to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. Staff were taking part in sponsored silences, baking cakes and running a raffle to raise funds for the cancer charity.
David said:
"The staff at the Coldham's Lane ASDA are making a great effort to raise money for Breast Cancer Care through sponsored events and raffles. One member of staff was making a valiant effort to communicate with facial expressions and mime during her day-long sponsored silence.
