Andrea moved to Cambridge in 2003 with her husband David, and after a few years' hiatus in London they returned to Cambridge in 2007 before the birth of their twins at the Rosie. Andrea is a lawyer with a strong track record of volunteerism, particularly in the field of human rights. She volunteered for Liberty (the National Council for Civil Liberties) from 2003-2007, and remains a Lawyer for Liberty. Andrea is also a member of Cambridge Twins Club, the Park Street Residents Association, Cambridge Past, Present and Future, and the Cambridge Cycling Campaign.Before moving to Cambridge, Andrea studied English literature and Economics at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and received a Master's degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Boston. Andrea currently lectures in law."I joined the Liberal Democrats because they represent the ideals that I believe in, in particular the importance of upholding this country's strong tradition of civil liberties. Andrea was elected as a City Councillor for Market Ward in 2011.
